Trent Ritzenthaler

Trent Ritzenthaler has 19 years of experience in the healthcare field and has spent more than 12 years in senior consulting roles. He has worked in a variety of settings, focusing on revenue enhancement and cost management for hospitals, integrated health networks, academic medical centers, clinical research organizations, and healthcare suppliers. Previously Mr. Ritzenthaler was a co-owner, president, and managing partner of a niche healthcare consulting firm. There, he supported health providers and suppliers across the United States and abroad through strategic planning, information technology, process optimization, and interim management services.

Mr. Ritzenthaler has developed and applied his skills in strategy and business plan development, process optimization, and IT integration across several healthcare channels, including engagements with national Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies, for-profit managed care organizations, integrated healthcare delivery systems and large primary care and specialty care physician groups. Most recently, Mr. Ritzenthaler assisted a group of over 200 physicians across 50 clinic locations to deploy and optimize industry leading Electronic Practice Management (EPM) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions while helping them to define, measure, and report achievement of EMR Meaningful Use.

Mr. Ritzenthaler holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from DePauw University in Indiana, is a trained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt process improvement consultant, and is a member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
